Self-catering holiday accommodation in Moreton-in-Marsh

Hosting the largest open-air market in the Cotswolds, Moreton-in-Marsh is renowned as a hub for local produce, arts and crafts. It was founded sometime in the 13th century as a Gloucestershire market town. Although many of the beautiful buildings are of 17th and 18th century origin, it is thought that the church in the town dates back to the 1600s. A market is still held in the centre of Moreton-in-Marsh on Tuesdays.

Other local attractions include the colourful gardens at Batsford Arboretum, Hidcote Manor and Chastleton House, which was constructed during the Jacobean period and has changed little since it was built. For train enthusiasts, there is the steam Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway in nearby Toddington. Outings for the family include The Cotswold Falconry Centre, Birdland, the Cotswold Perfumery, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Cotswold Farm Park, the Model Railway Exhibition and the Model Village. There's also a variety of beautiful towns and villages to explore nearby, including Chipping Campden, Broadway, Chipping Norton, Barton-on-the-Heath and Burmington.
