Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The town’s past can be appreciated by looking at the period cottages, traditional buildings and the once used 'stocks' on the green. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry, it is now home to many antique shops, galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town, visit Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest.

Enter the cottage through the spacious hall with WC. The cosy lounge has ample comfortable seating, woodburner effect electric fire and TV/DVD and Wi-Fi. The kitchen/diner leads from the hall and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a dining table for four to enjoy a meal together. Upstairs you will find  two bedrooms – the master bedroom with king size bed , the second, a twin. Nearby, is the bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Adjoining the house is a utility room that houses a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely location just a short walk from the centre of Stow. Very clean warm and comfortable. We had no difficulty parking close to the cottage during our stay but the option of alternative parking was greatly appreciated. I will definitely look to book this cottage again when visiting the Cotswolds

A very well placed, cosy cottage and great to have parking pre-arranged. We stayed 2 nights to give elderly parents a short break away it was ideal. And the lovely welcome gesture of milk and a cake to share was really appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful well maintained. Having had problems with previous holiday rentals we took our own pots and pans. We definitely didn't need them here. Easy to follow instructions for parking and key entry. Would definitely stay again. Clean cosy and well situated

Beautiful quiet cottage with all needed for a short or longer stay. Withing walking distance of shops, cafes and local village life, but also easily accesses main roads to explore more of the Cotswolds. Rooms are generous size with character, but all the equipment you need. Incredibly clean and well thought out property.

Lovely little cottage although surprisingly cold inside for the first couple of days considering it was June. Location absolutely perfect for short flat walk into market square. Very quiet which we like. Garden a real sun trap. Very easy to park nearby in BackWalls - did not need to use the option of a neighbours drive. Plenty of places to eat and Read moredrink in town and locally but could not believe how expensive it was (we live in Surrey so used to high prices). Best pub by far though - Queens Head! Hide

Lovely little cottage at the end of an alleyway which means it is very private. Well equipped and comfy. This was our second visit to the property, so obviously we like it. It is a great location both for the village and wider access to the Cotswolds. The private parking nearby is a real benefit: it might be difficult to park close by otherwise. We stayed over New Year and thought that the Christmas decorations were a nice touch.
