With its grand manors and gardens, quaint cottages, ancient woodlands and rolling hills, Stow-on-the-Wold is the classic Cotswold market town. Visit villages and towns such as Broadway, Chipping Camden, Cheltenham and Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon. Sporting and leisure facilities in the area include golf at Naunton Downs and Burford and horse racing at Stratford, Cheltenham and Worcester. For enthusiastic gardeners Batsford Arboretum and garden centre is close by. Enjoy a day out at the Cotswold Farm Park with a cream tea in Bourton-on-the-Water or a visit to the famous motor museum.

Enter the terraced cottage into the cosy lounge, which offers a Smart TV and comfortable sofas to relax on. Head through into the dining room that features a charming exposed stonewall, bringing lots of character into the room. The cottage was clean and comfortable, well equipt in the kitchen and a dog walking field nearby. However the downside to this property is that there is no parking nearby & not even able to unload/load outside as it is situated on a main A road of which is very cleverly photographed in the listing.

A spent a wonderful week in Crumble Cottage! The cottage was clean and comfortable and in a great location for exploring. People have commented on the traffic noise, as it sits on a road, but I was not bothered. It had everything I needed, and a lovely cream tea and bottle of wine! I would love to go back!

Lovely base for exploring the Cotswolds, lots to do in Stow and then nearby lots of other lovely areas. Only downside was the noise from the main road which the cottage is on, which doesnt seem to stop throughout the night. Quirky cottage with a secure yard which was handy for the pooch. Very steep stairs which was fine for us. Handy parking not faRead morer away as all, with an electric charger which we used. Hide

The kitchen was well stocked, the cottage is in a lovely area, stow on the wold is lovely. Guest need to be aware how busy & noisy the road is, how steep the stairs are & the bath is not the easiest to use. It's a shame because the owners are very nice & helpful, very kindly left welcome pack of cream tea & wine.

Lovely quaint cottage in a very good location near to the town centre and other beautiful towns and villages. However, the main road passing in front of the cottage is very busy 24 hours a day. Also the mattress of the single bed could do with being replaced. It was a bit sunk in the middle. Other than that it was a lovely stay.

Super well equipped cottage in a good location but beware parking is a short walk away and stairs are steep so need to be able bodied. Noise at night from the main road so if you are a light sleeper then perhaps take some ear plugs. We had a great week stay and loved that so many places were only a short drive. We took our dog and found we had to kRead moreeep taking him for a walk as the garden was very small and no grass. That said we are all the more fitter for the experience. Hide

We had a lovely stay in the cotswolds and crumble cottage was the perfect base. Location was excellent for town and all the great pubs and shops. The owner recommended a perfect field to allow our puppy to let off steam just over the road which was really helpful. She also left us an afternoon tea to enjoy over the weekend! We had a lovely holiday, the cottage had everything you would need. Liz the owner met us and left us a cream tea. The cottage was ideally placed only 5 minute's from Stow, that had lots of places to eat and drink.
