Lakeside holiday accommodation in the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is home to over 100 lakes, largely found in the Cotswold Water Park, though also in locations such as Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford.  There are some great cottages in our collection with lake views, some of which are situated on or near nature reserves. Other lakes have been adapted to become leisure facilities for a never ending range of sporting activities.

The facilities can often cater to the most sedate of competitors with sports like angling and fishing, all the way through to adrenaline-fuelled pursuits like jet-skiing, kayaking and speedboating. Other sports include wake-boarding, windsurfing, wild swimming and rowing.

The lakes also offer waterside strolls, bridle paths, and woodland tracts where you can nature watch and spot birds, dragonflies, bats (by night) and even orchid hunt. You can even relax at an inland beach at The Cotswold Country Park. There are some lakeside cottages that have exclusive access to a lake or similar body of water. Here the accommodation may come with private fishing rights. We have some lovely cottages which are close to or on the banks of the lakes in the Cotswolds.
