Cheltenham, Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick and Cirencester are also within easy reach, along with a plethora of chocolate box pretty villages including Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, the Slaughters and Kingham. Slightly further afield, but worth a visit is Oxford with is stunning architecture and fabulous museums, beautiful Blenheim Place, The Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Forest of Dean.
