Perfect location. Lovely walk into Bradford on Avon both on the road and the tow path. Small but perfectly adequate for two. Food van in site was very good and convenient. Would definitely recommend and be back if we were in the same area again.

Good location. Worked we for us as with mobility issues we could still enjoy walks around the equestrian centre watching the horse riding lessons and the marina is close enough to be able to look at the boats. The Boathouse pub is close enough to walk to easily, food there was very good. There is a food van on site serving rice boxes (which we realRead morely enjoyed) and other meals. There is a nice patio area outside the front of the cottage where we could sit in the sunshine. Hide

If you just want a base to explore the area from then this is ideal. If you plan to spend time indoors then a bigger place with a separate living area would be ideal.

The apartment is very cosy and clean. Gavin is very helpful and obliging. It is located just around the corner from the marina and a few minutes in the car or 20 mins if on foot from BOA main high street. The Boat house pub is on site with nice views of the marina, but very expensive. BOA is really all about the beautiful and charming canal, with iRead moret's cafes and pubs. If you are looking for a shopping trip forget it and stay in Bath, if you're looking for something different, this is for you Hide

No dish washer but washing up liquid supplied with cloths. More than adequate amount of bathroom towels and toilet paper. Limited cooking facility but good microwave, other oven and hob did not use. The property is small but the furnishings made good use of the space. Very warm storage heating.

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. Proclaiming the title "The Capital of the Cotswolds", its market square is dominated by the cathedral-like Parish Church of St. John Baptist (one of the largest in England) and can be easily reached from our self-catering accommodation in Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace. That’s just for starters, there’s plenty more things to see and do in the Cotswolds and you will love them all!
