The marina is nearby with its colourful narrow boats where boat, canoe and bike hire can be arranged, as well as fishing. The exclusive Wiltshire town of Bradford-on-Avon is just 1 mile away with its specialist shops, tea rooms, cafes and excellent selection of restaurants and pubs. The historic city of Bath is 8.5 miles with its famous bath spas, theatres, race course and rugby ground. The train station is under a 5 minute drive where you could catch a train to the thriving city of Bristol just 30 minutes away. Golf at Cumberwell Park is within easy reach as well as a host of popular attractions Longleat, Dyrham Park, Stonehenge, Stourhead house and gardens.

Great acoomodation , lovely area to relax and only a short walk to the town and canal .

No dish washer but washing up liquid supplied with cloths. More than adequate amount of bathroom towels and toilet paper. Limited cooking facility but good microwave, other oven and hob did not use. The property is small but the furnishings made good use of the space. Very warm storage heating.

Very conveniently situated for walking into Bradford on Avon either along the road or by the canal towpath. Very good pub next door and a great regular bus service into Batn from just outside the entrance to the cottage site.

Moorings Cottages is in a great location adjacent to the Boathouse Hotel which is open from 11am daily providing Coffee and meals as well as full bar service, this hotel also has entertainment nights.
