Peacefully tucked away within a cluster of cottages just minutes away from the high street of Bourton-on-the-Water and banks of the river Windrush. Beautifully finished with original features.

Bourton-on-the-Water otherwise known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, is one of the most highly regarded Cotswold villages, located in an Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty attracting visitors throughout the year. Its central location offers easy access to a host of attractions The Cotswold Farm Park, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway, numerous National Trust properties and gardens. While the surrounding countryside provides beautiful walking and riding along a network of footpaths and bridleways. Other attractions in the area include Birdland, The Motor Museum and The Model Museum.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with dressing room accessed via stairs and 1 bunk bedroom, which are suitable for children. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/diner: open-plan with exposed stone fireplace and woodburner, for bookings between 1st October and 31st March the first basket of logs is included, TV and DVD. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: enclosed courtyard to the front. Amenities: parking for one car. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Location: shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm

We had a really lovely time at Feather Cottage. Its in a fantastic location to explore the area and just off the main street of Bourton on the water, which was good although parking was very tight. The actual cottage is really nice, and has everything you need. Although the shower didnt work for our stay, and there was little effort to fix it - I dRead moreont think we even got a sorry for the inconvenience! Hide

The cottage was beautiful. It was well equipped with everything we could need for exploring Bourton-on-the-Water. The milk and cake on arrival were very much appreciated. The cottage is in a fabulous location. We barely used our car, as there were so many attractions within walking distance. The Cottage is really lovely and has everything you need. We were 2 adults with our young children (both under 5) and the seize was perfect. It is very nice furnished and in a calm street with very friendly neighbours. The village is quite busy during peak season.

Enchanting cottage in the perfect location. A welcome retreat to return to, either after looking around the delights of Bourton on the Water, or after visiting all the pretty villages in the local area. We had a lovely time staying at the Feather Cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water, located within walking distance of the town. Great base location to visit the surrounding areas of the Cotswolds. The cottage comes with one parking space which is bonus as limited off street parking nearby.
