Lovely cosy cottage, very comfortable and well equipped. Stairs are a little challenging! perfectly located for the centre of Stowe and lots of walks. On a main road, but you really do not hear much at all, car park and supermarket are very close by. Would highly recommend Crumble Cottage, made to feel very welcome.

Crumble Cottage was lovely. Very clean and had everything you needed to allow you to start your holiday as soon as you walked through the door. It is in a good location and the village is idilic. Would definitely go back.

A suitably quaint and quirky cottage adding to our Cotswolds experience. A home from home, in a perfect location to explore Stow on the Wold (a two minute walk), and other local places.

We had a fantastic few days at Crumble Cottage, its location close to the centre of Stow is brilliant. We were lucky with the weather and loved sitting outside in the beautiful little courtyard. Really clean and all the facilities you could possibly need. Lots of hand sanitizer and antibac wipes which were a big help for the new normal during COVIDRead more-19 Hide

We spent a lovely Christmas at Crumble cottage. We were greeted to a warm, very clean cottage with a cream tea and bottle of wine waiting for us. The cottage was nicely decorated for Christmas which made it extra special. It was more spacious than I expected and was perfect for us, our baby and Boxer dog. The cottage is in a great location, right bRead morey the market square in Stowe and also Tesco which is handy. Very close to lots of other beautiful villages too. Wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage is in a very good location even if on the main road, so some traffic noise. Has a cosy homely feel and it is well equipped and very clean. The stairs are very steep so not suitable for everyone. Has a very cute back yard which is very useful for people with dogs. Had a lovely time at the cottage and would go back again.

Perfect location. Cottage was exactly as we imagined.Nice comfy furniture to sit back and relax in after a tiring day. Bath was lovely too, we only have a shower at home so that was also a bonus. We certainly would stay again, highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at Crumble Cottage, really short walk into town and so much to do in stow-on-the-wold. Cream tea waiting for us on arrival, comfortable and cosy, our favourite feature was the gorgeous free standing bath! Our dogs loved the local walks too.

Crumble Cottage is the perfect getaway for a romantic break, walking trip, sightseeing etc... the stairs are very narrow and steep (almost spiral) and may not be suitable for people who are less mobile. The under floor heating downstairs is a lovely addition. Very clean and beautifully appointed.

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace.
