This former bakery is situated within the exclusive Wiltshire town of Bradford-on-Avon offering cosy, yet stylish accommodation. Located just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre with its specialist shops, galleries, tea rooms, cafes and excellent selection of restaurants and pubs. Bradford-on-Avon makes a wonderful base from which to explore Wiltshire and the Cotswolds and is just a 15 minute drive to the historic city of Bath with its famous bath spas, theatres, race course and rugby ground. With the train station just a 10 minute walk why not catch a train to the thriving city of Bristol just 30 minutes away. Enjoy beautiful walks to Devizes and Bath along Bradford’s canal path where boat and bike hire can easily be arranged. Golf at Cumberwell Park is within easy reach as well as a host of popular attractions Longleat, Lacock with its abbey and gardens, Stonehenge, Stourhead house and gardens to name but a few.

The luxury accommodation offers TWO stylish bedrooms: 1 king-size and 1 single bedroom with feature fireplace, and space for a travel cot. Bathroom with shower over roll-top bath and WC. Lounge/diner with TV and DVD. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Downstairs WC.

Outside there is a small enclosed decked area with seating.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £20. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Characterful, well maintained and appointed property in a great location. Perfect for exploring the many local sites and a short walk to the train station to visit Bath and Bristol etc. Highly recommended.

Great location not only for Bradford on Avon but the whole area. The cottage is warm and toastie and the beds are the most comfy weve found in five weeks of touring. Plenty of hot water, good pressure. Everything you need is here. A lovely stay.

Absolutely excellent property, beautifully decorated, clean and inviting. All the kitchen utilities that you could want. The whole place was wonderful. Dog friendly too.

Lovely little cottage in the heart of Bradford and Avon. So close to the centre of the town with the lovely sights, quaint buildings, and lovely surroundings. We were there for three days and the cottage had everything we needed, befittingly furnished with everything in working order. The heating worked great the bed was very comfortable. Bakery cottage was lovely and very comfortable. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen which was good as we cooked most evenings. There was info on the area which was useful. I would recommend this cottage to everyone.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Easy to get to shops/restaurants and the station. We had a good day out in Bath and didn't use the car at all during our stay.

I have no hesitation in recommending this cottage. It was spotlessly clean, with everything necessary to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. Amazing location just two minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful town.

We really enjoyed our stay, Bradford-On-Avon is a charming town. The cottage was also a great base to get the train to Bath, access lovely walks along the canal and visit some of the local visitor attractions.

Had a perfect week at Bakery Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and spotless. The location to the town centre was great. Taking a train to Bath was hassle free. Didn't really need the car once there. Couldn't have asked for better.

Cottage was lovely and cosy and we visited at a particularly cold time. In a great location so we didnt need to use the car. Close to numerous pubs, restaurants and the station. Got train into Bath and Bristol despite a strike. Pretty quiet location, very comfy bed and complimentary wine, coffee and biscuits were a lovely touch. Cooper our CockapooRead more loved it too! This is an excellent place to stay. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The parking at the station is needed as we could not park near the cottage on the road It is only a 10 minute walk away and it encouraged us to use the train to visit Bath and Bristol - great days out. Bakery Cottage is quite a find! The accommodation is perfectly suited to a couple or small family; very comfortable, spacious downstairs and beautifully clean!. Parking is available on the street, if youre lucky enough to find a space or pre-arranged at the train station - just a short walk away. The pretty cottage is wonderfully clean and bright. Thd cottage was quiet at nighttime and very near the shops. Bradford on Avon is a beautiful quaint town with some lovely restaurants. The townsfolk are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed walking along the canal and visiting the Avoncliff aqueduct and visiting the historic city of Bath by traiRead moren. The walk to the train station only taking us 5 mins and what a lovely walk over the town bridge and along the riverside. Hide

We were very comfortable in this cottage. It had everything we needed. Bradford-on-Avon is a nice town with lots of places to eat. Good walks along the river and canal plus lots of places to visit. Bradford-on-Avon has some steep hills, the cottage is located on one. The cottage is probably not suitable for someone with mobility issues. The stairs Read moreare steep and have a turn which makes them narrow at that point. The bath is lovely but it has a very high side though a step is provided. Hide

Wonderful cottage in a really central location to Bradford on Avon. There is a downstairs WC which was a bonus. Some lovely quality furnishings and accessories. Great communication with cottage owner. Free parking at local railway station was arranged but I managed to park on Whitehill for each of our 7 nights.
