Bath, with its splendid Georgian architecture and Roman spas, is 10 miles away, while there are plenty of eating and drinking opportunities in the historic market town of Chippenham which is 5 miles away. Stonehenge is 30 miles away. Closer to home, guests will find a shop and local pub less than 2 miles from the cottage.
This charming cottage offers welcoming accommodation over two floors. The ground floor features a cosy lounge with exposed beams and a stunning inglenook fireplace and a cosy open fire. The open-plan kitchen and dining room have everything required for a self-catering break, including a large table for gathering around. The bathroom is situated on the ground floor too. Upstairs, are two bedrooms: a double, and a twin with an additional single bed if needed – both bright, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
Outside the cottage is a large, enclosed garden with mature trees, a tyre swing for younger guests, and garden furniture for making the most of the peaceful rural location.
