I loved my week at Linnet cottage. I received a lovely, warm welcome from my host, who is a very helpful and friendly gentleman. The cottage was perfect. It was well equipped, spotlessly clean, airy and spacious, and perfect for a non-driver, as I could catch the bus less than 3 minutes' walk from the cottage, visiting Bradford-on-Avon, Bath, TrRead moreowbridge, and Warminster. The surrounding countryside is stunning and a walk along the canal is a real treat. I was sorry to leave after my week here. Hide

Lovely accommodation, if a bit small, next to the Boathouse Pub and Marina. 20 minute walk along main road to town or 25 minutes along the canal path. Recommend Bradford on Avon for a weekend break, with lots of history, independent shops and cafes along the River Avon and canal.

We had a lovely stay in the Linnet! Such a lovely setting right near the canal which was so peaceful. The cottage was small but it was perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean and tidy and there was ample kitchen equipment without needing to bring your own. The only downfall is that it is still using a hot water tank boiler so the hot waterRead more ran out when we ran a bath. But apart from that, it was perfect and a great base to explore the surrounding areas. Hide
