I liked the look of Bakery Cottage from first game on the Holiday Cottages website and it seemed like it would be the ideal place for my sister and I to stay for a short break. From the moment we entered the house we felt at home. The welcome package was much appreciated. There was everything there that we could have needed and the place felt reaRead morelly homely. We appreciated the folder with instructions. There were plenty of books to read and a game or two if we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean, the bath was a nice size and the shower worked well. I loved the little garden and I enjoyed watering the plants. Bradford on Avon is a really nice town and we found that the people were so friendly. The local shops were very good. Whilst there we visited a few National Trust places including Dyrham Park, Great Chalfeld and Court Gardens. Lacock was a real standout place and Im so glad we went there. The American Museum was excellent and well worth a visit. Hope that helps anyone considering staying. Hide

We had a lovely stay at Bakery Cottage. It was warm and comfortable and Bradford-on-Avon has lots of fabulous cafes and restaurants to enjoy. The cottage is in a great location for the town centre and station. (The parking space at the station was really helpful during our stay.)

Fabulous week at this cosy, well equipped cottage. Apart from the traffic congestion Bradford On Avon is a lovely, friendly town with great bakers (Pipits) and restaurants (Bunch of Grapes) within yards of the cottage. We used the trains lots so the free parking at the station was fantastic.

Lovely cosy cottage centrally located in the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon. So much to see and do with everything on your doorstep. Do the town trail to get a feel of this wonderful historic town or why not catch a train (the station is a 10 minute walk from the cottage) into Bath. I recommend this property if you are staying in or around Bradford. On Avon. Only 15 minutes by train to Bath, 5 minutes walk to station. Lots of pubs ,cafes restaurants in Bradford on Avon. Only downside if there has to be one is the traffic is very very busy in the street .

Bakery Cottage was top of my list the moment I spotted it on the Holiday Cottages website. The interior is clean, spacious and welcoming, uncluttered yet homely. The kitchen is perfect; everything necessary is provided, though there are so many wonderful places to eat, plus takeaways, we didn't use it very much! Deep, luxurious bath, just the tickeRead moret after one of the many lovely walks in this area. Location ideal, in a quiet road yet only minutes from amenities. We'd return in a heartbeat. Hide
