Chesterton House is a Grade II-listed building in the heart of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds.

This historic town is filled with wonderful courtyards and streets with an eclectic mix of independent boutiques, antique emporiums and great options for food and drink. Enjoy one of the town’s beautiful parks or visit the stunning church. The apartment is an ideal base to explore the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its picturesque countryside providing a perfect backdrop for many popular walking trails that occupy the area. The chocolate-box village of Bibury is 7 miles away with its renowned row of stone cottages. Bourton-on-the-Water (16 miles) and Stow-on-the-Wold (20 miles) are easily accessible and make for a wonderful day out exploring two quintessential Cotswold destinations. After a busy day enjoying the local area, make your way back to the property which is accessed through private gates.

Head into the apartment and into the hallway, a handy space to take off boots and jackets after tackling one of the Cotswolds walking trails. Make your way into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area which has been finished to a high standard and is a real highlight of the apartment. The fantastic kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for a self-catered break, sampling some wonderful local produce that you will be able to find whilst out and about exploring the area. The lounge is equipped with a comfortable sofa and Smart TV and there is a dining table to eat together. The bedroom has a king-size bed with luxurious bedding, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep. The high standard continues into the bathroom with a bath and shower to enjoy.

Heading outside, there are well-kept shared gardens, a lovely place for a walk or to simply sit and relax in a tranquil setting.

The apartment was ideally located for Cirencester (15 minute walk). Having parking was a great facility. We found the accommodation quiet, comfortable and it had all the amenities we required. We enjoyed our weeks stay and would stay again in the future.

The apartment is just right for a stay in the Cotswolds. It is a 10 minute walk in to the town centre and there is a Tesco Express and chip shop 2 minutes walk away. When someone books a place classed as luxury - your words not ours - then you do not expect to find a mouldy ceiling in the bathroom, the plug missing in the sink or radiator valves not usable. Had a lovely stay in this apartment. Very homely, comfortable bed. Loved all the furnishings. A short walk into the town. A trip to Bourton-on-the-Water. A drink at the Hawkstone Brewery. Broadway's Chrismas decorations were lovely. Blenheim Palace was awesome. The Bus Stop is 2 minutes walk & we visited Cheltenham, really nice shopping centre, & oRead morenly 50 minutes on the bus. Lovely safe location. Car parking a big bonus. Facilities/equipment in apartment excellent. Close to town centre, 15 mins walk. Easy drive to surrounding Cotswolds villages and towns. This apartment is in a lovely location a short walk into Cirencester. It oozes quality and has a homely feel about it, nice returning back after long visits around the beautiful Cotswolds! Really lovely apartment finished to a high standard and close to Cirencester town centre. The owner couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful- there to meet us on arrival and gave us all the info we needed for our stay. Beautiful kitchen, plenty of hot water and very comfy bed. Wonderful location to reach many places. Stone building kept us cool in the really hot afternoons watching Wimbledon. Dino gave a wonderful welcome with a lot of great suggestions which we used. Car park really useful as were the nearby local shops. Bathroom needs some TLC.

Beautiful apartment within easy reach of Cirencester town center - 15 minute walk. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked with amenities truly making it a home from home. The host, Dino, was brilliant from the initial meet and greet ensuring we knew how everything worked to recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
