There is a great choice on your doorstep including picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water just four miles down the hill, the Slaughters, Upper and Lower Swell, and often forgotten picture-perfect villages such as Kineton and Naunton.

On arrival at the bungalow you will see that it retains much of its period charm. There is a small entrance hall to hang coats and bags, and to kick off any muddied boots after exploring the local tracks. The lounge is very airy and contains ample comfy seating to enjoy the TV, and there is also a folding leaf-style dining table by the window with seating for four, ideal for home-cooked meals on your break away. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge with ice box. Nearby are the spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with twin beds. We had a lovely stay here. The furnishings etc are a little vintage, but that does not bother us!. Great location, fantastic host. We would definitely return.

A good base if you are sightseeing in the Cotswolds. A Tescostore is close by, and there is a Co-op in town this very limited. We loved the Batsford Arboretum and enjoyed all the other surrounding charming towns and villages.
