Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty attracting visitors throughout the year. Bourton-on-the-Water’s central location offers easy access to a host of attractions. Why not visit Adam Henson at The Cotswold Farm Park, or take in one of the many National Trust properties and gardens to include Snowshill Manor, Hidcote Gardens, Chastleton House and Chedworth Roman Villa. The surrounding countryside provides beautiful walking and riding along a network of waymarked footpaths and bridleways. Or simply stay in Bourton and visit Birdland, The Motor Museum or The Model Village, or perhaps take a picnic by the river Windrush and wander the picturesque High Street and finish with a cream tea.

Drive through the gates into this private mews of honey coloured stone houses, step into the hallway which is the perfect place to leave your coats and boots after a day exploring. The open-plan lounge/diner offers a great space for a family, with a large cosy sofa creating a space to enjoy a movie on the TV/DVD or on a rainy day a board game, the dining area with table and chairs takes centre stage with French doors that open onto the gardens. The kitchen, contemporary in style and well-equipped, offers electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a separate WC on this floor. When the day is done climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find three bedrooms, one double with garden views, one double and one single. There is a bathroom on this floor with bath, a separate shower and WC. Heading up to the second floor and you will find a double bedroom with a double bed along with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Open the French doors and step outside onto the patio, the enclosed garden offers a seating area that is perfect for a supper outside or a lazy afternoon. There is private allocated parking for two cars.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely picturesque village. Close to Restaurants, pubs and a variety of shops including a large supermarket all within walking distance. Cottage is very homely with everything you could want provided for to a high standard.

The location of the cottage was perfect. The cottage itself had everything you would want,including board games for wet days. It provided easy access on foot to the village and shops. On the Website, this cottage ticked all our boxes for our stay in The Cotswolds and it certainly didn't disappoint upon our arrival. A welcoming home with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, in a perfect location for walking locally or driving further afield. Prior to arriving at the cottage Nicola was exceptionally helpful and quick to reply to my messages. I had rented the property to celebrate my 60th Birthday with family. We had an amazing time. The only feedback we have is that the church bells kept a couple of us awake at night. The owner of the cottage provides earplugs which is so thoughtful. Lovely cottage and very friendly helpful owner.

I had a wonderful stay with my daughters and grandchildren. The home was exceptionally well preesented and equipped, with secure parking - perfect with young children. Easy walk to town and the supermarket, and perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds. Highly recommend!

We have been to Old Library Mews 3 times now and have enjoyed the holiday every time and would not hesitate to recommend it. Its position and fecilities in the centre of Boughton on the water are excellent with 2 private parking spaces guaranteed.

We had a 3 night short break here and could not have wishes for anything more perfect. Everything and more was supplied. The cottage was decorated and furnished to a high standard, pleasant garden to sit in and fabulous location. Added bonus of free sexure car parking. Hope to visit again.

My second visit to this beautiful house. Very clean and the perfect location for visiting Bourton on the water. Secure parking an added bonus. Owner left us a very welcome treat goody bag. House is very well equipped even including ear plugs for the squeaky floor boards.

The cottage was in an excellent position a short walk from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water and it's amenities and attractions. The cottage itself was well equipped for our stay with the bonus of being in a gated development with off-street parking which is very useful in such a busy location.

Would highly recommend Old Library Mews for a weekend or longer away. Perfect location - just a few mins walk to the centre of Bourton on the Water. The cottage itself is very tasteful, cosy and modern, and the kitchen is well equipped. 2 parking spaces a bonus. Definitely a 5 star property for all categories. Lovely quiet situation on the edge of the village within easy walking distance to the main attractions. The property is well maintained everything you need for a great holiday clean and tidy.The private car parking is a great asset as Bourton on the Water is a beautiful place and a lot of people visit. We had a wonderful meal at The Mousetrap Inn. This was our second visit and we will hopefully be back again.

A beautiful cottage in the perfect location. Lovely to be able to just walk into the village in a few minutes and leave the car behind. So well equipped and so peaceful.
