This beautiful cottage is a fine example of a traditional cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds AONB. It is located in the idyllic village of Ford, filled with charming stone houses, beautiful gardens and a tranquil river that flows through the village. There is a popular village pub a two minute walk away, and a lovely café and shop in nearby Temple Guiting (1 mile), which provides visitors with all the essentials they need for a relaxing stay in this stunning setting. The village is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside you will find in the country, with rolling hills, green fields and beautiful woodlands, perfect for walking, cycling and exploring. Visit some of Cotswold's most popular towns and villages including Stow-on-the-Wold (7 miles) and Bourton-on-the-Water (7.5 miles). Enjoy a day out on the heritage Gloucestershire Warwickshire railway from Toddington station (3.5 miles), which winds through picturesque countryside to Cheltenham.

After a full day exploring this beautiful part of the Cotswolds, make your way back to your luxurious cottage which has been designed to ensure total relaxation. Enjoying a peaceful village location, this rural retreat has been finished to a high standard throughout with a contemporary feel within a traditional Cotswolds cottage. On the ground floor, you will find the beautiful lounge with a wonderful wood burner and Smart TV. They have major building work in the neighbouring property, the car park was constantly full with builders vans and we would not of been able to park a second vehicle there, we are very pleased we did not invite friends, constant noise.

Lovely cottage, lovely welcome pack. Road noise and lights a tiny issue when in master bedroom but not a negative. We arrived at 4pm and it was cold, be nice if heating on ahead of arrival.

Ford was ideally placed for visiting so many towns and historical places we had planned to visit and The Tallet was the ideal cottage for a comfortable, luxurious stay.

Lovely property, extremely clean and well presented. The welcome pack was great and much appreciated especially the delicious cakes in the fridge! Garden not as dog friendly as we hoped, but only becaue we have a terrier who can jump and part of the wall quite low, so kept him on lead, lovely sized garden though. We did not appreciate the cottage was on a busy B road and that there would be constant traffic both on the road and coming and going from 5am from the other cottages. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this is the best so far. The cottage has been very well restored and is also quite quirky. The cottage was excellent. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and great location for visiting the main highlights of The Cotswolds. The owner responded promptly to a wasp nest issue we had. The only downside from a dog owners point of view was that the cottage is situated on a fairly busy road on a series of bends with no footpath. Tallett Cottage was a wonderful cosy cottage. Beds were super comfy. Cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Welcome treats were most appreciated - fresh bread, butter, milk and patisserie cakes too! We had such a relaxing week with plenty of beautiful walks in the area and pretty neighbouring villages to visit. Local pub The Plough InRead moren serves huge portions and is a 2 mins walk away. A lovely well equipped quiet cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds within easy reach of local towns by car. Local pubs do meals and there are restaurants in Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the -Water. A warm and friendly place to stay with a sunny garden equipped with chairs and cushions.

A beautiful cottage in a peaceful location with safe designated parking. Furnished to a very high standard with much care and attention being given. Tallett Cottage is the most stunning cottage we have stayed in. Great attention to detail, so well equipped, comfy beds and fabulous showers. It's in beautiful surroundings and well placed for lots of great sightseeing. Directly opposite a racing yard which was great for walking our dog and watching the horses exercise on the gallops.
