Tucked within the village of Shaw there are excellent local amenities within easy reach including a choice of pubs and a popular garden centre. Set near to the border of the Cotswolds, which is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, there are many attractions nearby including Lacock village with its historic abbey, the Cotswolds waterpark, Bowood House and garden and Bradford on Avon with its canal and riverside activities. Walking routes lead from the property through the surrounding verdant countryside where you may be lucky enough to spot some of the resident wildlife, including deer and birds of prey. Accessed via a shared gated driveway this property is attached to the owners’ home, yet privacy is assured.

A path leads to the private entrance, which opens into a stylish hallway. Immediately to the left a doorway leads into the striking open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Available on request is a utility room with washing machine. The dining area is just opposite and overlooks a courtyard garden and also the lounge area that has a fabulous full height ceiling, Smart TV and doors to the garden. Heading back into the inner hallway you will find a flight of stairs leading to the first floor. There are three bedrooms to choose from here. The first is a comfortable super-king-size zip-and-link (available as a twin on request). Next is a further stylish super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (can be arranged as a twin on request), which has an ensuite shower room with WC. The final bedroom is a cosy single. A contemporary bathroom can also be found on this floor and has a walk-in shower, bath and WC.

Heading outside via doors from the lounge you will find an enclosed courtyard style garden that wraps around the property on two sides. The space is laid to gravel and has furniture so that you can enjoy dining outdoors. There is ample off-road parking approximately 25m from the property.

We had the most amazing stay here, a real home from home, lots of space and everywhere was immaculate when we arrived. Lovely owners too! We will be back :).

We received a warm welcome upon arrival both in person and with a lovely welcome pack. The owners were then helpful if we had any queries but not intrusive. The cottage is finished to a very high standard in every room and was extremely clean and well equipped throughout (including excellent kitchen equipment). It is a good size for a family of fivRead moree. We had the added bonus of the most enormous Christmas tree I've ever seen in a house, as we stayed over New Year. Lovely Italian 5 mins walk away. Had a lovely week over Christmas staying at The Haybarn. Perfect venue for our family Christmas, with a beautiful Christmas tree. Very large, roomy and warm. Wine, cake, and cookies on our arrival. The owners were very helpful. Excellent location near places to visit. Will happily return.

The Haybarn was really something extra special. Our stay was 5 star. Everything was thought of the whole place was immaculate, the decor the soft furnishings the kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms. The four of us had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to come back. While we were there we went to the Bath Christmas Market and the Festival Read moreof light at Longleat Safari Park. Very modern and imaginative barn conversion, comfortable and well-equipped. Friendly owners next door, but we hardly saw them.
