Immaculately clean, beautifully furnished cottage. Very rural location, with excellent walks from the door. Our dog had a wonderful time. Narrow country lane up to the property is very potholed, so a 4x4 is strongly recommended.

We had a lovely family holiday at Keepers Cottage - not far from home but felt miles from anywhere! Enjoyed walking around the lake. Everyone also enjoyed the delicious apple cake!

This property is an absolute delight - completely isolated with just the cows for company. We had a party of four adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. The property was very clean and well equipped. We had everything we could possibly need for 7 days. The welcome sponge cake was awesome!

We had a peaceful stay. Perfect place for a family gathering. The garden was secure which was excellent for our Labrador, and the walks from the doorstep were lovely. The lakeside walk is a must do, and our children loved playing in the stream in the next field. The photos of the house don't do it justice, it feels spacious for six people plus dog.Read more The attic bedrooms are cosy and perfect for kids, but definitely not for those with mobility issues. The homemade Victoria sponge was a nice touch. Hide

This cottage is close to the motor way but doesn't feel it. The cottage offered privacy with lots of foot paths to explore. We really enjoyed the cottage, it was clean and very well equipped staff was very helpful with any questions!

Great property, lovely peaceful surroundings with fantastic outdoor space. The cottage is very well equipped and convenient layout - ideal for a family. The rooms are bigger than expected too and the owners have considered the small details to make the cottage more comfortable and practical for families. Would 100% recommend and visit again.

We had a wonderful week over New Year. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with every kitchen utensil and pan needed. The property is lovely and warm and welcoming with quality linen and towels. The garden is large and ideal for our dog as it is fully enclosed. Excellent walking from the door. We would recommend the Lake walk.

Fantastically equipped property that is extremely spacious and a lovely quiet and rural location. Cannot recommend highly enough to go to a property where a lot of thought had been put in to ensure that it was home from home.
