As you enter this charming cottage via the sweet front courtyard you will instantly feel right at home, with attention to detail and lots of character throughout. As you walk through the front entrance you will enter the cosy lounge/kitchen/diner a perfect social space with added wood burner for those cosy evenings. Off the lounge, and heading upstairs you will find the first of the bedrooms, a tastefully decorated bunk bedroom perfect for children (bunk beds are only suitable for children), as you continue down the hallway you will reach the master bedroom with stairs leading to the added dressing area to complete the property you will reach the family bathroom with rainfall shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside, you have a sweet courtyard area, a perfect spot to enjoy a drink or read a book after a busy day exploring the local areas and attractions.

  • 2 Bedrooms- 1 double with dressing room accessed via stairs and 1 bunk bedroom, which is suitable for children only.
  • Bathroom with rainfall shower over bath and WC
  • Wood burner in the lounge/diner (first basket of logs included for arrivals between the 1st October and 31st March)
  • TV and DVD
  • Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

  • Please confirm if you will be charging an electric vehicle at the property as there is an additional charge of £25 to pay directly to the owner

My wife and I, accompanied by our 2 year old grand daughter stayed at Feather Cottage for 4 nights. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. Galley style kitchen has everything you need. Appliances are good and kitchen is well laid out. Living area whilst not large is perfectly adequate for two adults with children. Lovely, tastefully decorated cottage in an ideal location. Very peaceful but just off the main street in close proximity to all the amenities. Was very useful to have a parking space which fitted our 4.7m car. We enjoyed several meals out, would recommend The Mousetrap and The Old New Inn. Such a well equipped, peaceful cottage . Just off the main road , with an admittedly tight parking space for a small car , its a perfect location. Clean and with everything we needed for a relaxing stay . Very cute little room on the third floor that we used as a reading room . Kitchen had everything we needed , beds , chairs and sofas were all comRead morefy . We thought it might be a little chilly, but the whole cottage was toasty warm , with blankets scattered everywhere if needed . So much in the local area to do , and lovely to have peaceful walks down by the river early in the morning before the crowds arrive ! The cottage was in a great location, warm and comfortable. It was nice to have some peace from the hustle and bustle of the village. I stayed on my own and there was plenty of space for me, and would be good for a small family. I would recommend this cottage, however the WiFi does drop a lot and the TV does not have any streaming apps. So not greatRead more if you are relying on those. This was a superb cottage. We would return. We were just a couple but it would be suitable for a family too. It is in an ideal location, just set back from the busy high street of Bourton-on-the-Water, so nice and quiet, with a small parking space outside. Overall very nice experience and will recommend Feather Corrage to friends. My only complaint is that the cookware is less than satisfactory. The badly scratched telfon pans and pots should have been replaced long ago.

This Cottage is a wonderful little gem in the most perfect location, being walking distance to absolutely everything in Bourton on the Water - the most gorgeous little village. The parking space is a fantastic addition and we greatly appreciated the use of travel cot, highchair and toy box for our young children. Overall a lovely cottage very well presented and convenient with some very friendly neighbours however parking and access was really only suitable for a relatively small car or small SUV.

Feather cottage has provided us with the most perfect base for our week's holiday in the Cotswolds. Extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished we have loved staying here. The location is amazing, we have hardly had to leave the village for this whole week as it is in walking distance of everything in Bourton. Thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay in Feather Cottage. Very cozy and comfy with everything you need to cook and relax in the Cotswolds. Great location with easy access to shops, bakeries and pubs.
