A great location for wildlife, truly off the beaten track. Exceptionally quiet save for the aircraft practising for the Trooping of the Colour fly past at Brize Norton and that was not a problem. Super helpful hosts, beautiful house full of interesting artefacts.

The beds were comfortable, lovely location, great for walking and dogs. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have some milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival. The separate shower/toilet upstairs had a slight drainage smell but by turning on the extract fan for the bathroom it then disappeared.

A well appointed cottage in a great location. Peaceful even with Brize Norton nearby. Just a comment for electric car owners...the 7Kwh charger at the cottage tripped out easily. We found it better to use the 3Kwh charger we brought with us which gave us enough range following an overnight charge.

Good stay at Jimmy's barn. It was empty for 3 days before us so it was cold for a couple of days but the wood burner is great and we used it every day. We had to switch the generator to manual for several hours each day then back to auto to keep batteries charged.
