This remarkable retreat is perfectly situated, offering peace and tranquility for all the family, yet within easy reach of local amenities. Found on the outskirts of the village of Kemble, which offers a local shop, pub and railway station which runs into Paddington and Cheltenham. Why not take a trip into the Big Smoke or enjoy a day out as a family at the Cheltenham theatre? Within a ten-mile radius is Keynes Country Park and a choice of fishing and boating lakes, Cirencester, the Roman Capital of the Cotswolds with amphitheatre, museum and Roman Villa, and finally, the famed Westonbirt Arboretum with spectacular walks through stunning woodland. On entering this delightful retreat, the porch is the perfect spot to dry off those paws and leave your walking boots behind. Heading on through the property you will enter the lounge area, with beautiful views over the garden via the large double doors and ample seating to sit back and relax. Enjoy a movie on the TV or sit back and watch the aircraft coming to and fro from the Kemble airport. Following on from here you will enter the kitchen/dining area, the kitchen is well-equipped and offers an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and a table and chairs which will seat six guests comfortably.  The first of three bedrooms, a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite wet room with shower and WC. Head down the hallway from the lounge and you will find the two other bedrooms.  A super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) which is accessed via two small steps, and a king-size bedroom which is also accessed via two small steps. You will also find the bathroom here with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside there is an enclosed garden with private patio and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the summer, or a morning coffee in the sun. There is off-road parking for three cars outside the property.

Lovely property, very well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful location and very safe for the dog to run around outside. Will definitely be returning.

A clean and comfortable , well furnished converted barn off the beat and track. It was great to wake to the sound of skylarks in the morning. Kemble was a delightful village with the added bonus of a friendly pub and village shop. The waterlogging prevented us from exploring the footpaths surrounding us but in drier months they would be an added boRead morenus. We discovered a delightful cafe on the road to Oaksey called the Dragonfly cafe - if cake is your treat this place is heaven! Hide

definitely dog friendly with reasonably sized enclosed garden and good view of garden from sitting room ( we had a Bernese Mountain dog and he was fine). Great easy walks from front door. Small playground for under 3's walking distance.

Wonderful location in the middle of fields. Beds very comfortable and all rooms very clean. Nice welcome basket.
