Further afield are the historic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon (16.5 miles) – Shakespeare’s birthplace, and Cheltenham (23.5 miles), home of a literature and food festival. More local attractions include Chastleton House and Gardens, Hidcote Manor, Daylesford Organic, and Batsford Arboretum – all excellent days out.
