Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The town’s past can be appreciated by looking at the period cottages, traditional buildings and the once used 'stocks' on the green. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry, it is now home to many antique shops, galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town, visit Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest.

Enter the cottage through the spacious hall with WC. The cosy lounge has ample comfortable seating, woodburner effect electric fire and TV/DVD and Wi-Fi. The kitchen/diner leads from the hall and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a dining table for four to enjoy a meal together. Upstairs you will find  two bedrooms – the master bedroom with king size bed , the second, a twin. Nearby, is the bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Adjoining the house is a utility room that houses a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

The cottage is the end terrace of three positioned away from the road and has a suntrap garden which catches the afternoon sun, perfect for relaxing on the patio enjoying a quiet drink in the afternoon or evening.

Cottage in a great location, 5 minute walk into Stow, and not far to travel to visit other beautiful places. No traffic noise. Great to park off road, big thanks to owners friends just over the road. Sofas in the lounge are quite low for anyone with medical issues. It is a property with beams, especially in main bedroom. Cottage has everything you Read moreneed. Sycamore Cottage was ideally located in a quiet road but only a few minutes walk to the main square in Stow. The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped with ample storage and wardrobe space in the bedrooms. The private parking arrangements were an absolute bonus. The location of this cottage is excellent and, when you find some of the back alleys, it only takes a few minutes to walk into Stow. Despite the road being only approx 100 yards away, we heard very little traffic and even managed to sit outside and enjoy some sunshine in April. As we arranged parking, we only had to use the car a couple of times duRead morering the week we stayed. The only negatives for us were the beds (too soft) and sofa's (too low), but this is not a complaint and we would go back Hide

It was very quiet even though only 100m or so from the busy A429. The off road parking was a real bonus as, even in January there was hardly any roadside parking on back walls.
