Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The town’s past can be appreciated by looking at the period cottages, traditional buildings and the once used 'stocks' on the green. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry, it is now home to many antique shops, galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town, visit Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest.

Enter the cottage through the spacious hall with WC. The cosy lounge has ample comfortable seating, woodburner effect electric fire and TV/DVD and Wi-Fi. The kitchen/diner leads from the hall and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a dining table for four to enjoy a meal together. Upstairs you will find  two bedrooms – the master bedroom with king size bed , the second, a twin. Nearby, is the bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Adjoining the house is a utility room that houses a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

The cottage is the end terrace of three positioned away from the road and has a suntrap garden which catches the afternoon sun, perfect for relaxing on the patio enjoying a quiet drink in the afternoon or evening. There is free off road parking for one car by arrangement with the owner prior to arrival..

Sycamore Cottage was ideally located in a quiet road but only a few minutes walk to the main square in Stow. The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped with ample storage and wardrobe space in the bedrooms. The private parking arrangements were an absolute bonus. An excellent stay and we hope to return.

Great location. Near an A road but its tucked away so very peaceful. Only a 5 to 6 minute walk to the market Square with many pubs tea rooms and shops. Close to lots of attractions so no long car journeys needed once you are there. Comfortable, clean and homely feel to the cottage. We had a great week

The location of this cottage is excellent and, when you find some of the back alleys, it only takes a few minutes to walk into Stow. Despite the road being only approx 100 yards away, we heard very little traffic and even managed to sit outside and enjoy some sunshine in April.
