It lies in a secluded village in the Duntisbourne Valley, which is perhaps one of the prettiest valleys in the Cotswolds with its Saxon-age village church. There are wonderful views over the unspoilt countryside and enjoyable long or short walks including a section of the Macmillan Way. Central for Cheltenham for the horse racing, Gloucester for its heritage, Oxford for its academia and history, Stratford-upon-Avon for its beauty and associations with the playwright William Shakespeare, and the quaint Cotswold towns of Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold. The region has good access to London and the north via train and motorway transport links. Slightly further afield are the vibrant cities of Bristol and Bath.
Relax in the lounge with its cosy wood burner (first basket of logs included), where you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV.
