All in all we had a nice stay - well placed to visit Gloucester and many of the Cotswolds villages. The reception was friendly, with Prosecco, cake and fresh eggs on the table. Evenings in the courtyard were mainly calm, with birds nesting and ducks and chicken around (unfortunately the roosters started at 3 AM, so better bring earplugs!).
