With the Gloucestershire Way almost on the doorstep, this is an enviable location for walkers and cyclists alike, keen to explore the glories of the Cotswolds. You will be well-placed for exploring The Forest of Dean and you can experience a wide array of outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, horse riding, fishing, canoeing and kayaking on the River Wye. Or you could explore the River Severn, and experience the famous Severn Bore. The historic cathedral city of Gloucester is close by, and there are many wonderful National Trust properties including Chedworth Roman Villa, Hidcote Gardens, Westbury Court Gardens and Haresfield Beacon. Or you could even stay closer to home and meet the alpacas on the farm.

There are also opportunities for farm activities. You could meet the alpacas, and alpaca walks are possible by arrangement during weekends and some evenings. Lambing takes place in February/March. Fruit picking is seasonal.
