Enjoying a great location within the heart of a traditional Warwickshire estate. A charming property with a wealth of character offset with a contemporary twist, perfect for a stay in the country.

Although set in a rural location you are just a short distance from the village of Ettington, well served with a village inn and traditional village store, also surrounded by many picturesque villages to include Halford and Alderminster. Ideally placed for a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, with an exciting all year round events calendar offering something for all. A little further south, the heart of the Cotswolds has many traditional villages and market towns to include Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold. This area is also well served by the National Trust with properties and gardens to include, Blenheim Palace, Ann Hathaway’s cottage and gardens and Hidcote Manor and Gardens to name but a few.

A warm welcome awaits you at the front door, step into the spacious hallway with WC offering the ideal place to leave your muddy boots behind. The barn is simply charming, the spacious lounge with painted stone walls, exposed beams and warming wood burner creates the perfect backdrop for an evening in planning the following days activities or watching a film on the TV/DVD. Across the hall, the kitchen/diner with views across the estate further enhances the charm and original features, the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. When the day is done climb the stairs to the bedrooms, you will find a double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, a twin with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a single with garden views.

French doors open onto the lawn from both the kitchen and lounge, secluded and quiet, there is plenty of space outside. The unfenced lawn has a garden table and chairs for eating out on warm days. For the energetic amongst you, there is a hard tennis court with rackets and balls provided. There is ample off-road parking provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage was spotless, spacious and very comfortable in a scenic, peaceful location. The lady who looks after the cottage, Christine, was such a nice lady, very helpful but never intrusive. I would reccommend this cottage to everyone.

Lovely cottage in good location. Walks from the door seemed a bit limited but you could walk to Ettington. Very well equipped and comfortable living space for 4 adults and a child.

I went with 5 friends and had an absolutely brilliant time. Its a beautiful cottage perfect for hanging out, cooking and relaxing and the pictures do not do it justice as there is a very large kitchen and living area and the bedrooms are large and so beautiful. The cottage is in a great location, lovely views, warm and cosy. Comfy beds, loads of room, perfectly clean, and as another reviewer said, the photos don't do it justice. There are plenty of walks from the cottage and you can walk to a number of local pubs. Thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous rural location on a farm so super quiet & dark. Christine was very friendly & the cupcakes she left us delicious. Great sat in front of log burner chilling out. Highly recommend the Chequers pub, 5 mins away. Great take out service. Lovely walks around & a very relaxing break. Good size cottage & rooms. We will be back

The cottage was everything we wished for, it was nice to be greeted by Christine and shown around, then eat the lovely cakes which she gave us. The cottage situation is ideal, in a beautiful valley, with hills either side and peaceful, well off the main road. Very spacious beautiful cottage, in excellent proximity to Stratford. Christine even changed her evening plans to greet us when we arrived a little later than planned and had made us lovely cakes. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning property, well equipped, spotless clean, great location (loved the quiet and the dark night sky). Attention to detail and all the little extras were very much appreciated. This is a lovely, well maintained character cottage. We particularly enjoyed the freshly baked muffins waiting for us on arrival, the outside seating, and the comfy lounge for relaxing in the evenings. And were pleasantly surprised at the size of the downstairs space - much bigger than we expected from the photos.
