Situated within the owner’s grounds, the properties offer comfortable and unique accommodation, each property has its own individual style and has been sympathetically restored to showcase their historical features. Bretforton is a traditional working village which stages some of its own events, such as the annual asparagus auction, the Proms in the Park, the Bretforton Village Show and Open Gardens. A short drive from Shakespeare’s birthplace with attractions to include Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Hall’s Croft, Mary Arden’s Farm and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. When entering this beautifully converted property with exposed walls and underfloor heating throughout, you will be greeted by a tastefully designed lounge with woodburner to relax in front of on those chilly evenings together with a TV and DVD player. In the kitchen well-equipped you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. Downstairs there is also a utility room with washer/dryer and downstairs toilet. The accommodation offers 1 bedroom which has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC.

Outside accessed through French doors in the kitchen is an enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. There is off-road, gated parking for 1 car with additional roadside parking if required.

My wife and I had a fantastic holiday. It's in a great location for the Malvern hills, Evesham and the towns and cities in the Cotswold. The owners are friendly and helpful, but without being smothering. We forgot to write in the visitors book but we would very highly recommend this cottage for the excellent place to stay and the location. Remarkably good accommodation, in a remarkably good location, with extraordinarily nice hosts. The barn is exactly what I imagined it should be. Walnut Barn is in an ideal location for various pretty villages and towns. There are many wonderful walks local. We couldnt recommend the cottage and the area enough!

Beautiful cottage. Friendly owners. Wonderful location, just a short walk to shop and lovely old pub; also lots of interesting places to visit nearby, especially if you are a member of the National Trust. Lovely little village with quaint thatched cottages.

A comfortable, well designed cottage with plenty of space and generously equipped and stocked. Walnut Barn is located in an attractive quiet village but with a well stocked community shop, National Trust owned pub but within easy reach of many tourist attractions. Would highly recommend a stay.

Lovely cottage which is ideally located for many of the Cotswolds attractions. very roomy for two people. A great welcome by the owner. The cootage was moderninside but tradional on the outside. It was nice a warm in the cottage and the wood burner threw lots of heat. A great place to stay and will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Walnut Barn, Jane was so welcoming despite us being very late due to transport delays. The barn is perfect for a relaxing home from home, it is immaculate and much thought has gone in to the decor and finish. It is convenient for exploring the beUtiful countryside and close to major roads to explore cities and towns a litRead moretle further afield. Great cottage in a great location. Very clean, modern and has everything needed and more. Owners are lovely and left cake and milk for us on arrival. Local pubs brilliant, definitely in my top ten for food and drink. Couldnt ask for more. Will definitely go back and recommend

A very well thought out barn conversion. There was everything we needed there. The owner was very friendly and informative about the surroundings area. We did quite a lot of walking and they were able to tell us about the alls as well as having information in the house.

Walnut Barn is located in a lovely quiet street full of historic houses in a picturesque village. the Walnut Barn is a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and with fully equipped kitchen. There was nothing that wasn't there.
