Situated within a hamlet of traditional cottages and within walking distance of the local pub. This spacious barn offers spacious accommodation that’s perfect for couples wanting to explore the Cotswolds.

Located on the slopes of the Upper Windrush valley, this pretty hamlet is made up of quaint Cotswold stone cottages and The Plough, a popular 16th-century inn renowned for its excellent local food and Donnington ales. This quaint inn is favoured by jockeys and trainers and has a real welcoming atmosphere. For walkers, you can head up the valley to Cutsdean and Taddington which is the source of the River Windrush or down to the village of Temple Guiting where you will find an excellent local shop and café. Nearby attractions are Stanway House, Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway base at Toddington, Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park, Naunton Golf Course, Daylesford farm shop and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

The barn is situated within a cluster of cottages and accessed via the pretty rear garden. Step inside to the spacious entrance hall where you will find space to leave your boots behind after a day of exploring. The lounge is accessed off the hallway, a cosy room finished with a contemporary twist. Here you can sink back into the sofa and enjoy the warmth from the wood burner whilst enjoying a film on the smart TV. The kitchen/diner is accessed off the other side of the hallway, a great space for entertaining and well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler. A large table and chairs take centre stage where you can gather around for supper. There is a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a double bedroom and a super-king-size room with a free-standing bath in the bedroom. There are two en-suite bathrooms both with a walk-in rain shower and WC, alongside bathrobes, slippers and toiletries.

Outside the gardens are enclosed, there is a patio area with table and chairs with charcoal BBQ. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.

The Tallet is a fabulous cottage for a family of four. There are so many thoughtful details that really reflect the owners' dedication to creating a five-star cottage. It's also greatly located for exploring the Cotswold countryside. We highly recommend it.

This place is a gem in the Cotswolds - within easy reach of lots of different towns and attractions it was easy to forget you had a lovely garden to sit in with everything you could want. Tastefully furnished and very clean - nothing not to like really. Highly recommended.
