The cottage was comfortable and well furnished. We enjoyed our stay and the location, which is very rural and peaceful. Good wildlife. Well placed for trips out to surrounding sights. Good local pub in easy walking distance.

The cottage was in a fabulous setting. However, we were most disappointed on the cleanliness of the cottage. The property needs a deep clean. The shower in the family bathroom did not work properly (no hot water). We reported the problem (which we were only able to do once we drove to Cirencester which had mobile connectivity) and a plumber attendeRead mored. However, the problem persisted the rest of the week and all guests had to use the shower in the en-suite to the third bedroom. Hide

The cottage is situated in a beautiful setting. It has a lovely quirky charm. The chapel dining room is it's main feature, but was hardly used as the wi-fi does not extend that far. The cottage was in an ideal setting. It is certainly quirky and the provenance was interesting. It's main feature was the grand chapel dining room. Great location to enjoy the Cotswolds. Plenty of room for six people. Needs money spent on it to fix things and a good deep clean before I would stay there again or recommend it to others.

The property, garden, and location were super, however our holiday was marred due to an internal shower flood that also affected the dining room and cooker. We, therefore, did not have use of the bath/ shower all week and the cooker for 24 hours.

The chapel is a beautiful property. There is plenty of space for 6 people. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. All the appliances worked well, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious with good showers. It was a very peaceful location but it is very remote. Access is via very narrow single track lanes and a very steep ruggRead moreed driveway. The food at The Bell in Sapperton is well worth the 40 minute walk. This is an amazing property, the location is quite remote but two pubs within a 45 minute walk or 10 minute drive are both really nice. The house itself is awesome, the dining is one of the most impressive Ive ever seen! The Sonos surround sound is an added bonus that isnt in the particulars.

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. Proclaiming the title "The Capital of the Cotswolds", its market square is dominated by the cathedral-like Parish Church of St. John Baptist (one of the largest in England) and can be easily reached from our self-catering accommodation in Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace. That’s just for starters, there’s plenty more things to see and do in the Cotswolds and you will love them all!
