A cosy detached cottage in the village of Shottery, home to Anne Hathaway’s cottage and 1 mile from the beautiful town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

This secluded getaway provides spacious and comfortable accommodation whilst being only a stroll away (1 mile) from the bustling town centre, theatres and river walks of Stratford-upon-Avon, perfect for exploring the culturally rich heart of England. The location is ideal for exploring the nearby Cotswolds countryside, taking in the splendour of the houses of William Shakespeare and his family and a host of National Trust properties. With Warwick and Leamington Spa only 11 miles and 14 miles away respectively, you are spoilt for choice for places to visit. The medieval village of Shottery is home to Anne Hathaway’s cottage and there is a fantastic local pub within a few minutes’ walk of the property.

This lovely property is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, and offers very well-equipped, comfortable, and spacious accommodation in a great location. The living/dining area has an L-shaped sofa and a Smart TV, as well as a dining table and chairs. This room opens through French doors to the outdoor patio and garden. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a scrumptious meal including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and Tassimo coffee machine, there is also a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The spacious bedroom has a super-king-size bed (which can be made up as twin beds on request) and plenty of space for your belongings. The en-suite bathroom contains a bath, separate shower, and WC.

The outdoor patio area has garden furniture and a BBQ with views across the extensive gardens. There is secure parking for two cars.
