This is a good little 2 person cottage with easy access to a bus and train if you dont want to use the car. The owners are lovely and very helpful, they live next to the cottage. The only thing we would say is that if you have any difficulty with steep steps then this is not the place for you The headroom into the bathroom takes a bit of getting usRead moreed to as my 6ft 2 husband found out! We had a great time and there was plenty to do in the area Hide

Delightful converted loft, perfect for two people. Very well equipped with everything required for a short stay. There was a breakfast basket left for us containing milk, butter, marmalade, muesli and bread. There was also coffee and tea. We saw the owner briefly on arrival (Jane) and she was extremely helpful, suggesting some local places to visitRead more - most of which we did. We were offered use of the garden and the summer house which was perfect for a drink in the evening. Lovely area! Hide

The Granary Loft is a small cosy little property. Ideal for what we wanted. Hosts were pleasant & gave us information about local places to visit. Would recommend the village pub. The takeaway pizza was great To get into the property there is a fairly steep set of stone steps so just be aware of this if you have any mobility issues. Not much to say other than a lovely little loft, very cosy. My wife loved the teddy bear shop in Whitney (huge Steiff fan). Lovely location and great walks all around.

Really lovely cottage set in a beautiful village. The hosts are wonderful and the welcome basket on arrival was superb. The cottage has everything a couple would need for a break in the Cotswolds. The village has a well stocked shop, a friendly local pub and public transport options are available.

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. Proclaiming the title "The Capital of the Cotswolds", its market square is dominated by the cathedral-like Parish Church of St. John Baptist (one of the largest in England) and can be easily reached from our self-catering accommodation in Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace. That’s just for starters, there’s plenty more things to see and do in the Cotswolds and you will love them all! Our holiday homes in the Cotswolds are the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration, why not have a browse?
