Absolutely beautiful setting and very peaceful but also close to lots of places to visit. Buscot was a real find. We also loved the tennis court and nearby walks.

Lovely property with lots of rural walks. Great if you like peace and tranquillity with the countryside all around, but not if you want to have shops on your doorstep. Unfortunately we couldn't appreciate the garden in it's full or use the tennis court due to the poor weather but it didn't stop us enjoying our holiday.

Lovely cottage in a very quiet location. Vittoria very helpful. There is storage for bikes and we took full advantage of the traffic free cycle routes. Short walk across the fields to the Village pub. Great food. Obviously you need to pre-book. Dont forget a torch. This is the perfect place to be if you are looking for some peace and tranquillity,a beautiful setting, great place to explore especially for the kids (our two loved running around the meadow). A decent pub within walking distance and only a short drive into town. We will definitely be rebooking for next year!!

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. Proclaiming the title "The Capital of the Cotswolds", its market square is dominated by the cathedral-like Parish Church of St. John Baptist (one of the largest in England) and can be easily reached from our self-catering accommodation in Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace. That’s just for starters, there’s plenty more things to see and do in the Cotswolds and you will love them all!
