This light and airy annexe boasts a picturesque cottage garden for soaking up English rural life

Tucked away in a peaceful position, this property is in the heart of the charming village of Mickleton. Home to the famous Pudding Club, the village boasts a collection of traditional limestone buildings with Post Office, village shop and Butchers . A short drive or a 3 mile walk away is Chipping Campden which offers a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes, while also marking the start of the Cotswold Way. From here, keen walkers can set off on long walks through the Cotswold countryside, with the Heart of England way at the end of the lane passing pretty hamlets and villages along the way and joining the Cotswolds way in Chipping Campden. The local area is rich in culture and history, with Hidcote Manor just a short walk away and Sudeley Castle also within easy reach. A little further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham which is famous for its festivals and horse racing , Warwick Castle and Banbury are all well worth a visit.

Inside, the cosy yet bright accommodation has been thoughtfully designed and laid out to make full use of the space available. The modern kitchen opens onto the garden via a pathway and is well-equipped with everything you should need throughout your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Enjoy meals at the small table in the lounge/diner, before putting your feet up on the comfortable sofa or armchair and settling down for a cosy evening watching TV or DVD. There is a separate WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, the double bedroom is light and bright with a handy dressing area, TV and en-suite shower room with WC. There is is a cosy second single bedroom accessed from the main bedroom.

Outside, you will find a pretty private patio area set within the owners grounds with table and chairs overlooking a stunning cottage garden. The garden is lovingly maintained with wonderfully stocked bed and borders.

A lovely, cosy, spotlessly clean place to spend a break. It's an annexe to the main house and was equipped with all you would need. The host was very welcoming and had left some welcome goodies of bread, butter, eggs, milk and a delicious bit of fruit cake! A very well equipped cottage with high tec oven and kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, drier, fridge and freezer,. A strict deep clean is done between lets with change of cushions, pillows etc. and antibac wipes and sanitisers provided along with other things ones needs. Very peaceful and cosy with a lovely garden which we could have used if the Read moreweather had allowed it! Ideally situated for all the usual places to visit like Evesham, Stow on the Wold,. Beautiful comfortable cottage, very well decorated, very well equipped with everything you need especially kitchen. Plenty of leaflets and books of places to visit. Lots of reading material both in lounge and main bedroom. The garden was very well laid out very mature and attractive. There was places to sit weather permitting.

Gable End is a fabulous bolt hole for rest and seclusion.It's central to the Northern Cotswolds the cottage is beautifully appointed,a joy to be there There were leaflets to encourage places to visit and the host and hostess were kindness itself yet unobtrusive

This holiday home was immaculate, clean & comfortable with perfect hosts. The location is fantastic with quite a few National Trust properties within close proximity including Stratford upon Avon. The garden is an absolute gem to walk around and to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, would love to return.
