This is basically 2 hotel rooms linked with a kitchenette and sitting area. Luckily we had taken pre-prepared food as we would not have been able to cook here. We were also disappointed not to have a lake view. However, the rooms were clean and we enjoyed our stay.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. However the kitchen was the worst equipped of any self catering Ive stayed in. There was just one small saucepan and one dirty frying pan with the handle falling off. The sofas were well past their best, saggy, dirty and uncomfortable. The two wall lights in the living area didnt work, making it dark and dingy.Read more Would not stay here again. Hide

The property is well located for the many water activities nearby, and good value for money with plenty of space in the apartment. However it was very hot despite leaving windows open and the first cooler weather for a while). Also there was quite a bit of noise from other properties and from a nearby plant room. Peaceful with a lovely outlook. Apartment roomy but generally tired with stained carpets, scuffed walls and a sofa that was so worn it was not possible to sit on. Pool was small, became very overcrowded.

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. Proclaiming the title "The Capital of the Cotswolds", its market square is dominated by the cathedral-like Parish Church of St. John Baptist (one of the largest in England) and can be easily reached from our self-catering accommodation in Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace. That’s just for starters, there’s plenty more things to see and do in the Cotswolds and you will love them all! Our holiday homes in the Cotswolds are the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration, why not have a browse?
