This charming cottage is set in an enviable position along a historic, pedestrianised lane. A wood burner, courtyard, roll top bath and great road links make it the ideal base for a relaxing break.

Set within the village of Holt, this end of terrace cottage is ideally placed for touring. The village has a choice of two pubs and local shop. Bradford-on-Avon is also easily accessible, 2.5 miles to the South West and has further amenities as well as popular walking and cycling routes. Head along the canal towpath which leads to many picturesque spots including Avoncliff aqueduct and Bathampton. 7 miles north west is Bath, also accessible by train from Bradford on Avon. Here you can visit some of the region’s best loved attractions including the roman baths and abbey, or head into the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty where there are many foodie hot spots and charming villages.

The property is set approx. 50m along a shared pedestrianised lane. A shared entrance gate leads to the private entrance into the cottage. Once inside you are met with the inviting lounge/diner. This cosy space has a Smart TV and wood burner and is the ideal space in which to relax. There is space to dine just opposite. Leading on from here is a well-equipped kitchen and utility area that has an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A useful shower room with shower and WC is also accessible from here. Heading back into the lounge/diner a steep cottage style open staircase rises to the first floor, where you can choose between the two bedrooms. The first is a king-size room and the second a twin. The bedrooms share the bathroom, which has a free standing bath and WC.

Heading outside via doors from the dining area you will find a compact fully enclosed courtyard, which has furniture ideal for enjoying a meal or your morning coffee. Approx 50m from the property via the shared pedestrianised lane there is ample roadside parking (subject to availability).

On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice.
