The cottage was clean, very well equipped and comfortable. It was in a quiet location, close to Oxford and the Cotswolds, which are accessible by car in about 20-30 minutes.

The cottage is in a very quiet peaceful area, very well equipped and cosy. Very pleasant owners who made us feel very safe in the present Covid situation as everything had been organised so well. The ground floor shower room was fine, the bath upstairs was too difficult to access due to its position ,would be ok for bathing children. It is in a greaRead moret location for getting into all three counties ,and the local inn was super and only 400 yards away. Hide

Quiet cottage, comfortable and well-equipped; tucked away behind a church. Mainly just the sound of sheep and birds. Nice area with quaint villages and Oxford nearby. Plenty to see and do for my 11 year old son but would also be quiet getaway for couple. Felt safe with the Covid-19 procedures in place.

it is a very cosy, neat and warm cottage; the kitchen has all you need for a long stay, it is lovely to wake up early in the morning to hear the birds; very peaceful village with a good pub (The Red Lion)- Mary Ann gives a lot of info personally and in a map in the cottage.

A very well-equipped and cosy cottage. Central heating was excellent, but it was nice to be able to light the wood-burner as the weather was rather cheerless during our visit. Tall people need to be aware of the sloping ceilings upstairs.

Warm and cozy cottage. Nice quiet location. Not too far from Witney and Oxford and within range of takeaway delivery services. With a warm log fire a nice place to get away from it all or a base for Oxfordshire and Cotswolds exploration. Friendly helpful hosts nearby.

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. Proclaiming the title "The Capital of the Cotswolds", its market square is dominated by the cathedral-like Parish Church of St. John Baptist (one of the largest in England) and can be easily reached from our self-catering accommodation in Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace. That’s just for starters, there’s plenty more things to see and do in the Cotswolds and you will love them all!
