Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, this traditional character cottage, in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, is a comfy, warm and spacious property, ideal for a relaxing break.

Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bourton-on-the-Water is perfectly situated so you can make the most of the Cotswolds during your stay. The surrounding countryside provides beautiful walking opportunities, and there is plenty of riding along a network of way-marked footpaths and bridleways. There are many fascinating things to do and see. You could visit Adam Henson’s famous Cotswold Farm Park, Birdland, The Motor Museum, The Model Village, or explore the numerous quaint villages, abundant with shops, pubs and restaurants. There are numerous National Trust properties and gardens to discover including Snowshill Manor, Hidcote Gardens, Chastleton House and Chedworth Roman Villa.

On entering this spacious but cosy cottage you will find yourself in the open and tastefully furnished lounge. With original stone wall and TV/DVD, it’s a comfy mix of traditional and modern. The adjacent dining room, with original exposed beams, is full of character. Heading into the elegantly designed kitchen, this is well-equipped withan electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a separate ground-floor WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There’s one comfy and bright king-size room and an attractive twin room. You will also find a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC.

Moving outside, you can relax at the end of the day in the comfort of the enclosed and furnished courtyard. Or you could head into the village, which is just a couple of minutes’ walk and visit the excellent restaurants or pubs. There is off-road parking available for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Such a lovely cottage! Bigger than expected!! Really comfy beds and sofa, lots of space and a well equipped kitchen! Perfect location for exploring Bourton, and the neighbouring villages.

Lovely cosy, quaint cottage in a perfect position in the village. It had everything we could possibly need for a 1 week stay. Lots of places to visit, Cirencester, Broadway (and the Tower), Evesham, and of course Stow and Moreton - all delightful. We would recommend eating at The Croft, LAnatra and The Mousetrap - all fantastic. Weavers Cottage is perfectly placed to explore the wonderful Bourton-on-the-Water! Good positioning for varied dog walks, and obviously all cafs and restaurants are just around the corner! The kitchen was well equipped, and the dining room cosy! As was the comfortable living room - we made good use of teh DVD player too! Soft and comfortable beds mRead moreeant great sleeping! Great cottage in a great location having a parking space is a real plus.Very spacious cottage and well equipped .Bourton has lots to do for all ages.Dragon Fly Maze ,Motor Museum and Model Village for the younger ones and shops pubs and tea rooms for the adults. Stow and Broadway are also good but dont forget to go off the main roads to find the nuRead moremerous beautiful small villages.We have been staying in the Cotswolds for over thirty years and still come back every year to find new places. The cottage is in a beautiful quiet location. It was warm and cosy but had the potential to be more with some TLC.

this cottage has the perfect location and is charming with lovely soft furnishings and very tasteful decorative touches . the beds were quite comfy with clean and pretty linen. the kitchen has nice new kettle, toaster and a barista style coffee machine. be aware there are different levels throughout the property and we continually tripped up on an Read moreunexpected step in the upstairs bathroom, husband cut his toe on it. there was ample hot water whenever we needed it but the shower isnt great .
