Dog owners should know to keep their pets on a lead at all times as there are free-ranging poultry and valuable horses which may be spooked. Also, the footpath signage across the smallholding - featured on the marketing site - is inaccessible and misleading.

A most unusual layout with a balconied bedroom but interesting and enjoyable. A good location for exploring and ideal for animal lovers with horses, chickens and geese surrounding the property.

The cottage was clean and the host very helpful and friendly. However it lacked character and comfort, the road was noisy and there weren't nice walks you could do from the doorstep.

The owner was welcoming and informative. the cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Adequate storage space. Goo location for Bath park and ride. There was quite a bit of early morning road noise on the road next to the bedroom and one or two minor updates and attention to detail but it did not spoil the week we had.Would recomRead moremend with minor reservations/ Hide

The Cotswolds is home to some of the most unspoilt, historic and famous villages in England. Its honey-coloured stone buildings provide a quintessential English charm found no-where else in the world and offer a plethora of welcoming pubs, tiny tearooms and quaint streets to explore.

Once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’, the chocolate box village of Bibury is one of England’s most iconic hamlets, home to the peaceful River Coln and some of the most photographed houses in the country. The famous Arlington Row is a sight to behold - this row of 14th century weaver’s cottages have been the foundation of Bibury for hundreds of years and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of the Cotswold District.

If you’re seeking a relaxing day of sightseeing, shopping and traditional tearooms, head to the charming town of Cirencester, once the second largest town in Roman Britain. Proclaiming the title "The Capital of the Cotswolds", its market square is dominated by the cathedral-like Parish Church of St. John Baptist (one of the largest in England) and can be easily reached from our self-catering accommodation in Bibury, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The rolling Cotswolds countryside is never too far away from your cosy holiday cottage, so you can enjoy a variety of outdoor leisure pursuits including those at The Cotswold Waterpark. This popular tourist destination in Gloucestershire is home to 150 glorious lakes where angling, archery, wakeboarding, windsurfing, birdwatching and even rally driving can be experienced. On a balmy summers day, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach is the place to go, boasting the largest inland beach in the UK.

When it comes to attractions in the Cotswolds, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Grab a stylish bargain at Bicester shopping village, talk a walk on the wild side at Longleat Safari Park, experience a day at the races in Cheltenham, admire colourful blooms at Westonbirt Arboretum, keep the kids entertained at the Cotswolds Farm Park, take a tour around Gloucester Cathedral, and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace. That’s just for starters, there’s plenty more things to see and do in the Cotswolds and you will love them all! Our holiday homes in the Cotswolds are the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration, why not have a browse?
